Verity Buckingham

Verity Buckingham is a Counsel and Employment Team Manager in Dentons' Milton Keynes office, specialising in employment law. She advises corporate clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

She has extensive experience defending claims in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal, including breach of contract, discrimination, unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal and whistleblowing claims. She also advises on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including asset and share acquisitions, disposals, restructures, TUPE, redundancy processes, and senior executive exits. Her non-contentious work includes drafting and reviewing employment contracts, consultancy agreements, policies and settlement agreements.

Verity holds an LL.B (Hons) from Anglia University (1997) and completed the LPC at The College of Law (1998).

She is recognised by Chambers UK as "very knowledgeable, experienced, responsive and pleasant to deal with" and named a Legal 500 Rising Star. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association.
