Lisa Watson

Lisa Watson is a Managing Practice Development Lawyer in Dentons' Milton Keynes office, focusing on employment law within the Employment and Pensions practice.

She has extensive experience advising on transactional and standalone employment matters, including TUPE, mergers and acquisitions, team moves, large-scale redundancies, reorganizations and restructures, and day-to-day employee issues. On the contentious side, she has overseen numerous employment tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination and holiday pay actions. She has also led the employment aspects of a multi-billion-pound acquisition involving around 70 jurisdictions and more than 300 lawyers worldwide, and advised on global reviews of employee bonus arrangements across multiple jurisdictions.

Lisa holds a B.A. (Hons) in Law (Jurisprudence) from St Hugh's College, University of Oxford (2007) and completed the LPC at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice (2008). She previously spent nearly 10 years at Macfarlanes LLP and was seconded to the in-house legal team of a large publicly-listed insurance business.

She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and regularly speaks on employment law topics, including mock employment tribunals, mental health in the workplace, and diversity and inclusion.
