Jonathan Sears

Jonathan Sears is a Senior Associate in Dentons' London office and a member of the Restructuring and Insolvency Practice.

He advises on contentious insolvency matters including commercial litigation, acting for office holders and creditors on administration, liquidation, receivership and personal bankruptcy. He regularly advises boards of companies in financial difficulty and has extensive experience in investigations, restructuring and non-contentious insolvency work. His sector experience includes real estate, healthcare, energy and banking.

Jonathan holds a B.A. (Hons) in Ancient and Modern History from the University of Oxford (2005), an M.A. in Ancient History with distinction from University College London (2009), a GDL with distinction from BPP Law School (2010), and an LPC with distinction from the University of Law (2012).

He has volunteered at the PopLaw legal advice clinic since 2013.
