Ian Fox

Ian Fox is a Partner in the Restructuring and Insolvency practice, specialising in Bankruptcy and Insolvency Law. He focuses on all areas of restructuring and non-contentious insolvency matters, including board advisory work, business sale transactions on both the sell and buy sides, restructuring plans, CVAs and schemes, and workouts.

Ian also has significant experience in contentious insolvency and asset recovery work, and has advised insolvency practitioners, lenders, governments, corporates and directors across a broad range of sectors including retail, real estate, leisure, aviation, manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, energy and sport. He has a particular interest in cross-border and international insolvencies and graduated as a Fellow of INSOL International in 2018. He is also closely involved with representative organisations in the UK insolvency market, as a member of the City of London Law Society Insolvency Law Committee and the R3 Education and Courses Committee.

Ian holds an LL.B. from the University of Birmingham (1998) and completed the LPC at London Guildhall University (2000).
