Alex Moezi

Alex Moezi is a Partner in Dentons' Structured Finance practice, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. He advises on private and public securitization and structured finance transactions in the UK and internationally, acting for investment banks, asset managers, private equity firms, specialist lenders, development finance institutions and corporates across mortgage loans, renewable energy assets, credit cards, consumer loans, auto loans and trade receivables.

Alex is widely regarded as a leading practitioner in solar receivables-backed securitizations in emerging markets, with a particular focus on Africa, where he has advised on award-winning transactions across Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda. He is frequently instructed on first-of-their-kind and structurally innovative deals in the region and has recently expanded his expertise to cross-border carbon asset financing.

Alex holds an LL.M. from University College London (2002), an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Leeds (2001), and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School. Prior to joining Dentons, he was Counsel and Senior Associate at A&O Shearman, having also worked at Credit Suisse and Orrick.
