Tom Day

Tom Day is an Associate in Dentons' Debt Capital Markets, Structured Finance and Derivatives practice, based in the London office, practicing in Capital Markets Law. He advises underwriters and issuers (corporates and financial institutions) across different jurisdictions in connection with public-listed eurobonds, private placements, MTN and sukuk programmes, high-yield bonds, and liability management exercises.

He has advised on a range of significant transactions, including the Emirate of Sharjah's US$750 million Sukuk issuance, Oman Electricity Transmission Company's first US Dollar Green Sukuk, €455 million high-yield bonds for Globe Trade Centre, and €1.5 billion bond issuance for the Republic of Lithuania. He also advised on RELX's €850 million notes issue and airBaltic's landmark secured bond issue.

Tom holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Cambridge (2016), an LLM in Law and Legal Practice from BPP University Law School (2022), and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School (2023).
