David Cohen

David Cohen is a Partner in Dentons' Capital Markets Law practice, based in the London office. His practice covers a wide range of product areas including public listed eurobonds, private placements, EMTN programmes, CP programmes, high-yield bonds, loan participation notes, project bonds, and structured products. He acts for various market participants including issuers (corporates, financial institutions, and sovereigns), underwriters, and trustees.

Mr. Cohen has advised on numerous significant transactions, including mBank on its inaugural €400 million Tier 2 bond issuance, Anadolubank on its debut international bond issue, Faurecia on multiple international bond issues totaling over €2.65 billion, Commercial Bank of Dubai on its issue of Additional Tier 1 capital securities, Standard Bank on the largest green bond issued by an African borrower, and the Republic of Ghana on its US$1 billion bond issue and exchange offer. He also advised the liquidators of Mriya Agro Holding on an innovative US$1.1 billion debt restructuring.

He holds an LLB from the University of Manchester.
