Cheryl Ferguson

Cheryl Ferguson is an Associate in the Projects practice in Dentons' Edinburgh office, specializing in contentious construction and construction dispute resolution.

She advises a wide range of UK and international clients, including contractors, subcontractors and employers, on construction and engineering disputes relating to defective design, workmanship and delay claims. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Cheryl was an ARB-registered architect, bringing almost 10 years of practical experience within the Scottish construction industry to her legal practice.

Cheryl holds a BSc in Architecture (2002) and a Bachelor of Architecture with Honours (2005) from Dundee University, an accelerated LL.B from Robert Gordon University (2017), and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Glasgow (2018).

She is a Committee Member of the Association of Women in Property (Central Scotland Branch) and serves on Dentons' Edinburgh Pro Bono and Community Committee, as a Pod Facilitator for the Allyship Pod Program, and as a Panel Member for First Time Inside.
