Angelica McCall

Angelica McCall is a Senior Associate in the Regulatory and Investigations team at Dentons in London, specializing in Compliance Law. She advises on all aspects of advisory and contentious financial services regulatory matters for clients including traditional retail and investment banks, challenger banks, fintech firms, retailers, and public bodies.

Angelica regularly advises on the consumer credit regime, assists with internal regulatory risk and compliance reviews, and responds to significant compliance issues and regulatory investigations. She also advises on regulatory due diligence and change in control applications on M&A transactions, coordinating cross‑border applications. She completed secondments at PwC's Litigation and Regulatory Investigations team and at HM Treasury, where she worked on the extension of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime to financial market infrastructures, instructing the Office of Parliamentary Counsel on drafting under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2023. Prior to joining Dentons, she qualified at a top tier Australian law firm and worked as a judicial assistant in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, including on a foreign bribery prosecution.

Angelica holds an LL.B (Hons) and a Bachelor's Degree in International and Global Studies from the University of Sydney (2011, 2013), and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law (2014). She is admitted as a Solicitor in New South Wales (2014) and the High Court of Australia (2015).
