Michael Calladine

Michael Calladine is a Senior Associate in the firm's Regulatory and Investigations team, based in the London office, practicing in Compliance Law. He advises on all aspects of financial markets and regulatory work, with a particular focus on contentious matters, acting for a wide variety of financial services clients from high street banks to (re)insurance undertakings and fintech start-ups. He guides clients on regulatory risk and strategic matters, helping them manage interactions with regulators, and has experience of court procedures and applications at all levels.

Mr. Calladine has completed secondments at an international investment bank (Litigation and Regulatory team), a multinational insurer (warranty and indemnity insurance underwriting), and the UK Financial Conduct Authority (investigating defined benefit pension transfer advice cases). He holds an LLB in Law with European Law (Hons) from the University of Nottingham (2017) and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School (2018). He is a member of the Financial Services Lawyers Association and the Young Public Lawyers' Group committee.
