Lara Seabourne

Lara Seabourne is a Partner in Dentons' Regulatory and Investigations team in London, advising on all aspects of financial markets and regulatory work with a particular focus on contentious matters.

She advises public bodies and a wide range of financial institutions including banks, investment firms and insurers on regulatory investigations, skilled person reviews, remediation projects and consumer redress schemes. She has extensive experience of acting for clients in high-profile and complex judicial review challenges and has been involved in many of the most significant regulatory issues of the past decade, including LIBOR, Keydata, IRHPs, Woodford and Silicon Valley Bank. She was seconded to the FSCS in 2018.

Lara holds a B.A. in Ancient History (2007) and an M.A. in Medieval Studies (2008) from University College London, a Graduate Diploma in Law with Distinction (2009) and a Legal Practice Course with Distinction (2010) from the College of Law, London.

She established the pro bono partnership between Dentons and the National Centre for Domestic Violence, a not-for-profit organisation helping victims of domestic violence across the UK.
