Sophia Rahman

Sophia Rahman is an Associate in Dentons' Regulatory and Investigations practice in London, focusing on financial regulation and compliance.

She advises clients including banks, fintech firms and retailers on a wide range of regulatory matters, including providing perimeter guidance on the UK's financial regulation regime and the change in control regime. She has coordinated change in control applications for a billion-pound transaction spanning regulators in 10 jurisdictions, and has also supported on regulatory investigations. She has particular expertise in cryptoasset regulation, consumer credit reform, and payment services.

Sophia holds a B.S. in Management and Business from Skidmore College (2016), an M.A. in Law (2018) and completed the LPC (2019) at the University of Law.

She is Chair of the Race Group, a DE&I initiative led by Sainsbury's and their panel law firms, and is a member of PwC's Social Entrepreneurs Club.
