Sonia Vilar

Sonia Vilar is a Senior Associate in the UK Disputes Practice at Dentons in Milton Keynes, specialising in dispute resolution, commercial litigation, and arbitration. She focuses on disputes involving commercial contracts, franchising, and high‑value employment disputes, with experience across the construction, oil and gas, and retail sectors.

Sonia has successfully represented corporate clients in High Court litigation, national and international arbitrations, and a range of alternative dispute resolution practices, including mediation and blind‑bidding. She is commercially minded and always considers the cost‑benefit analysis of any case. She has been recognised as part of the Legal 500 UK Regional Commercial Litigation Team of the Year.

Sonia holds an LL.B from the University of Southampton (2012) and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (2013). She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2015.
