Sarah Rutnah

Sarah Rutnah is a Counsel in the UK Disputes practice, focusing on commercial and corporate litigation. She has particular expertise in contractual disputes, cross-border disputes, commercial fraud, professional negligence claims, and both domestic and international arbitrations.

She acts for a wide range of clients, from large global companies to high net worth individuals, and is often instructed to issue or defend commercial injunctions, including freezing orders and search and seizure orders. Clients have described her as "a litigation partner in the making", a "rising star with strong technical skills", and praised her for her commercially focused, calm and highly professional approach to complex matters.

Sarah holds an LL.B from the University of Sussex and completed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction at BPP Law School.

She regularly works with the National Centre for Domestic Violence, preparing injunction applications for victims of domestic violence, and is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.
