Rasha Jassim

Rasha Jassim is a Property Solicitor in the real estate team at RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) LLP, specialising in Real Estate Law. She advises a broad client base including private individuals, private companies, commercial landlords and tenants, developers, high‑net‑worth individuals and lenders.

Rasha's experience covers acquisitions and disposals of commercial, agricultural and residential property, as well as commercial leases and farm business tenancies. She also regularly advises on property‑related financing arrangements, personal guarantees, overage, option and pre‑emption agreements, first registrations of land, auction sales and purchases, easements, licences, consents and deeds of variation. She trained with a boutique shipping firm in London, qualifying in shipping law and advising on shipbuilding, ship sale and purchase, and ship financing, before transitioning into commercial property.

Rasha holds an Italian B.A. (Hons) from the University of Wales, Swansea (1998), a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law, London (2008), and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, London (2009). She was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2014.
