Simon Masri

Simon Masri is a Partner in the London office, practicing in the firm's Real Estate Law group. He has extensive experience of all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, with particular emphasis on property and hotel investment, finance, and mixed-use development projects, acting for institutions, private and public companies from the UK and overseas on structured investment acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and developments.

Mr. Masri has advised on numerous significant transactions, including advising Aprirose on its c. £525 million acquisition, sale and leaseback of the QHotels group, advising Ho Bee Land on the £650 million acquisition of Ropemaker Place in London, advising Societe Generale and HSBC Bank on €215 million of investment facilities to Generator Hostels, and advising KLP Eiendom on its £232.6 million acquisition and leaseback of the Conrad St James. He has also advised CIMB Bank Berhad on £120 million funding for IJM Land's Royal Mint Gardens development and Lee Kim Tah-Metro Holdings on its £76 million acquisition of 5 Chancery Lane.

Simon holds an LLB in Law with German Law from King's College London (2001) and completed the LPC at The College of Law (2002). He has been ranked as Band 2 in Hotel & Leisure by Chambers 2026, Band 3 by Chambers in Real Estate Finance, and as a Leading Partner by The Legal 500 UK (2022-2026). Clients describe him as having "first-class" advice and "knowledge cannot be faulted."
