Rohini Vekaria

Rohini Vekaria is an Associate at Dentons in London, practicing in the Planning team, specializing in Real Estate Law with a focus on planning and development. She advises local authorities, property developers, charities, and private individuals on all aspects of planning law, including s106 agreements, highway agreements, CIL, Certificate of Lawfulness applications, permitted development, and judicial review, as well as CPO compensation claims, planning inquiries, and enforcement matters.

Rohini has advised Chelmsford City Council on the planning framework for the North East Chelmsford Garden Village, including framework planning agreements and infrastructure delivery plans; advised on planning matters around the preferred route for East West Rail; assisted DEFRA on Transport and Works Act Orders and CPOs; and advised Sainsbury's on planning agreements under the TCPA 1990 and Highways Act 1980. She also assisted DWP in objecting to a CPO and negotiating a settlement agreement.

She holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Westminster (2015) and completed her Legal Practice Course with Distinction at BPP Law School (2016). She qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2019.
