Matthew Tinger

Matthew Tinger is a Partner in the Corporate department at Dentons in London, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He focuses on corporate real estate transactions and heads up the firm's corporate real estate practice, advising on acquisitions and disposals of properties within corporate structures, property joint ventures, and sale and leaseback transactions.

Matthew regularly advises private equity firms, institutional investors, and corporate clients on high‑value real estate M&A. Notable matters include advising funds managed by Apollo Global Management on the sale of a UK PBSA portfolio, advising KSL Capital Partners on the sale of Village Hotels and the acquisition of The Pig Hotels group, advising Frasers Group on significant outlet shopping centre acquisitions and a £205 million portfolio sale, advising the Arora Group on the joint acquisition of Novotel London West, and advising on the sale of Newcastle United FC. He also advises on investment funds and REIT transactions.

He holds an LL.B (2:1) and an LPC with distinction from Birmingham University (1997, 1998). He qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2000.
