Elijah Smith

Elijah Smith is an Associate in the Corporate practice at Dentons in London, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He advises public and private clients on domestic and cross‑border M&A, private equity transactions, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings across the financial services, real estate and leisure, media and entertainment, energy, technology, and life sciences sectors.

Elijah has advised on significant transactions including the approximately £240 million sale of Comfort Click to Alidac UK Limited (a subsidiary of Zydus Wellness Limited); the $1.2 billion sale of Alight Solutions' professional services and payroll outsourcing business to an affiliate of HIG Capital; and Circana LLC on its acquisition of Nielsen's mixed marketing modelling business. He also advised the joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners on Premier Energy PLC's initial public offering and listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

He holds an LL.B from Durham University (2017) and completed his Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (2019). He qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2021.
