Ben Havard

Ben Havard is a Senior Associate in the Corporate practice at Dentons in London, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He advises public and private clients on domestic and cross‑border M&A, private equity transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and AIM market matters.

Ben has worked with clients across the financial services, insurance, real estate and leisure, media and entertainment, energy, technology, and life sciences sectors. Notable matters include advising KKR and LGC on the auction sale of LGC to a consortium comprising Cinven, Astorg, and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority; advising KPS Capital Partners on the US$1.8 billion acquisition of the Howden air and gas handling business; advising Warner Music Group on cross‑border acquisitions; and advising Rutland Partners on an investment in Aston Barclay. He also advised on the sale of The Valence Group to Piper Sandler Companies and on Premier Foods' acquisitions of FUEL10K and The Spice Tailor.

Ben holds an LL.B and an LL.M in International Development Law from the University of Warwick (2014, 2015), and completed his Legal Practice Course at BPP University Law School (2017). He qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2019.
