Glenn Kolleeny

Glenn Kolleeny is Senior Counsel of Dentons Europe, practicing in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate practice. He has more than 30 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, specializing in international trade and commodities finance, corporate finance, M&A, and private equity. He has completed more than $10 billion of M&A transactions and has been described by Legal 500 as a lawyer who "makes deals happen" according to his clients.

Mr. Kolleeny advises financial institutions, private equity funds, and multinational corporations, with deep experience in Russia, the CIS region, and across Europe. Prior to becoming Senior Counsel, he was a partner of Dentons from its foundation in 2013 until 2021, and a partner of Salans from 1998 to 2013, serving on Salans' Global Board from 2010 to 2012. He began his career at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and held senior roles at Chase Manhattan Bank, Dresdner Bank, ABN AMRO Bank, and AIOC Corporation.

He holds a J.D. from Columbia University (1982), a B.A. from Columbia College (1976), and studied at the University of Oxford, the University of Grenoble, and the Pushkin Institute in Moscow. He is fluent in French and Russian and has a working knowledge of German, Dutch, and Spanish. He serves as a non-executive director of private and publicly traded companies and advises on wealth management and protection.
