Ellen Curran

Ellen Curran is a Senior Associate at Dentons in London, practicing in the Competition Law group. She focuses on contentious competition and regulatory work, with a particular interest in litigation, assisting clients on competition claims before the English courts, including collective actions.

Ellen joined Dentons from the Competition and Markets Authority, where she worked on consumer and competition investigations and litigation, including abuse of dominance, cartel conduct, and enforcement issues. She currently advises on the defence of multiple collective actions in the Competition Appeal Tribunal and was part of the team representing Stagecoach South Western Trains Limited in the "boundary fares" claim, including reaching the first major collective settlement under the UK collective actions regime. She previously practised in Australia, advising on complex and high-profile regulatory investigations and litigation.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney. She is admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and is also admitted in Australia.
