Christopher Graf

Christopher Graf is a Partner at Dentons in London and Head of the UK Competition practice, specializing in Competition Law. He advises clients on the full range of competition law issues, including merger control, cartels and competition investigations, market investigations, abuse of dominance, state aid/subsidy control, commercial agreements, and distribution arrangements, as well as securing foreign investment approvals under the UK National Security and Investment regime.

Chris has more than 15 years of experience advising clients across the energy, aviation, media and entertainment, and manufacturing sectors. Notable matters include representing a client in the CMA's largest ever investigation into resale price maintenance (musical instruments), securing total immunity from fines; coordinating representation in competition investigations by multiple European and international authorities; and securing UK, EU, and international merger clearances for clients in the energy, manufacturing, and media sectors. He also advises government and private sector clients on subsidy control matters. Chris previously practiced in the competition group of a Magic Circle law firm and in a leading New Zealand firm.

He holds an LL.B (Senior Prize in Law) and a B.A. in History from the University of Auckland (2006). He is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand (2006) and as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales (2018).
