Tanya Macrae

Tanya Macrae is Counsel in Dentons' London office, specialising in Competition Law. With more than 14 years' experience, she focuses on UK, EU and global merger control, foreign direct investment controls, and competition compliance and structuring advice across a range of industry sectors.

Tanya has advised on complex global and domestic transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, vertical and horizontal cooperation agreements, and commercial arrangements. She has particular expertise in coordinating foreign direct investment reviews under the National Security and Investment Act 2021 and has a strong track record in private equity, consumer goods, manufacturing, energy, technology and pharmaceuticals, with a special interest in the defense industry.

Tanya holds a Bachelor of Civil Law from the University of Oxford (2009) and an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Glasgow (2008). She is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
