Catriona (Kitty) Lloyd

Catriona (Kitty) Lloyd is a Partner in Dentons' Capital Markets practice and heads the UK Corporate Trust practice, specialising in Capital Markets Law. With more than 30 years' experience advising trustees and agents, she is widely regarded as one of the leading corporate trust lawyers in the City.

Kitty advises trustees, security agents, custodians, cash managers, account banks and other agency providers on listed Eurobonds, private placements, EMTN programmes, RMBS transactions, covered bonds and repackaging transactions, as well as secured and unsecured bank financings. She also regularly advises on post-issue matters, including defaults, restructurings, amendments, consent solicitations and exercises of trustee discretion. She is an active participant in the Trustee Sub-Committee for the International Capital Markets Services Association (ICMSA), where she has led its response to the EU's NPL Directive.

Kitty holds an M.A. (Hons) in Classics from the University of Cambridge (1990) and completed the Common Professional Examination and Law Society Finals at the College of Law (1992).
