Christopher O'Connor

Christopher O'Connor is an Associate in the Real Estate Litigation team, focusing on contentious and advisory real estate issues.

He has a broad practice across a range of property matters, in particular landlord and tenant disputes, break options, service charge disputes, dilapidations claims, and both commercial and residential possession proceedings. He also has experience of assisting on property-related insolvency matters, with a particular focus on advising clients on Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVAs). Notable matters include acting on behalf of a developer and landlord to serve more than 220 notices under Section 5 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987 in respect of leaseholders' right of first refusal, acting on behalf of property owners to recover possession of land occupied by trespassers at a Central London address, and preparing Section 20 consultation notices for large-scale internal works at a property.

Christopher holds a LL.B from The University of Nottingham and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School.
