Bryony Gold

Bryony Gold is an Associate in Bird & Bird’s market-leading Intellectual Property Group in London, focusing on Intellectual Property Law.

She has experience acting for clients on various IP issues across a broad range of sectors, including Media, Entertainment and Sport, Retail and Consumer, and Technology and Communications.

Her focus is on contentious IP. During her training contract and after qualifying, she has worked on litigation in the High Court and the Court of Appeal, including proceedings relating to the protection of trade secrets, patents, trade marks and designs.

She spent part of her training contract on client secondment, where she advised on IP matters including brand protection and copyright clearance, gaining real insight into clients’ business operations and offering commercial value across her work.

Bryony is a contributor to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys Journal and is Co-Editor-In-Chief of MediaWrites, a news hub by the firm’s Media, Entertainment and Sports group.
