Sam Caunt

Sam Caunt is a Senior Associate and intellectual property specialist in the firm's Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, based in the London office, practicing in Intellectual Property Law. He advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, both contentious and non-contentious, with specialisms in the retail, media, and technology sectors.

Mr. Caunt handles complex arrangements relating to the exploitation and acquisition of intellectual property rights, and drafts and negotiates all types of commercial IP agreements including confidentiality, license, R&D, sponsorship, distribution, manufacturing, and collaboration agreements. He also advises clients on the IP aspects of corporate transactions and has experience in contentious IP matters across the full spectrum of intellectual property rights.

He holds a PGDip in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the University of Oxford (2020), completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School (2015), and holds an LLB from Swansea University (2014).
