Alison Weatherhead

Alison Weatherhead is a Partner and Head of the UK Employment and Pensions Practice at Dentons in Glasgow, specialising in employment law, TUPE, corporate governance, and workplace investigations. She advises businesses of all sizes in the Scottish, UK, and international markets on contentious and non‑contentious workforce matters, including transactional advice, complex restructuring, remuneration arrangements, and director appointments.

Alison regularly provides strategic advice to client boards, including publicly listed companies, on corporate governance, FS/SMCR‑compliant remuneration, and national minimum wage compliance. She acts for employers in employment tribunals and judicial mediations on unfair dismissal, disability discrimination, whistleblowing, and unlawful deductions, and has significant experience in complex grievance and investigation issues. She also provides training and thought leadership on unconscious bias, equality and diversity, outsourcing best practice, and managing workplace change.

Alison holds an LL.B and was admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland in 2002.
