Alex Deal

Alex Deal is the Managing Partner of RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) LLP, practicing in the firm's Dispute Resolution practice. His practice covers commercial dispute resolution, corporate and commercial law, and employment law, with expertise in litigation before the High Court, international arbitration (including ICC and LCIA), expert determination, adjudication, and all forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Mr. Deal handles a wide range of business-related disputes, including commercial contract disputes, corporate and partnership disputes, claims relating to trusts, breaches of fiduciary duty, economic torts, professional negligence, and corporate and personal insolvency. He also advises on banking and finance transactions, corporate matters including share and business acquisitions, and employment-related issues such as service agreements, TUPE transfers, and unfair dismissal claims.

He holds an LLB (Hons), was called to the Bar in 1992, and was admitted as a Solicitor of England & Wales in 2001. Prior to joining RIAA Barker Gillette in 2005, he was a partner at Amhurst Brown Colombotti and Howard Kennedy.
