Tom Hanson

Tom Hanson is a Partner in the firm's Dispute Resolution practice, based in the London office. He specializes in disputes with a regulatory angle, acting for public bodies and regulated entities in litigation and contentious regulatory matters, with particular experience in public law, competition, consumer protection, and financial services litigation at both wholesale and retail levels.

Mr. Hanson has acted for clients in proceedings in the High Court and the Court of Appeal, as well as in arbitrations. He has spent time on secondment to the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers and to an international investment bank. He is described in The Legal 500 as a "rising star" who is "clever and responsive" and "challenges counsel's advice in a constructive way."

He holds a BM from Trinity College (2004), a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Law (2010), and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (2011).
