Isabella Megan Rees

Isabella Megan Rees is an Associate in the Construction and Dispute Resolution team in Dentons' London office, focusing on construction and engineering disputes across the Middle East, Africa and the UK.

She has experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters, advising on high-value projects across rail, infrastructure and development sectors in Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Africa and the UK. She has assisted clients in high-value and complex arbitrations relating to defective design and workmanship, delay and disruption, variations, loss and expense, payment disputes, debt claims and contract interpretation. Notable matters include representing the developer of a US$1.5 billion development in the CIS region in an ICC arbitration to resolve a US$380 million dispute, acting for an international EPC contractor in a multi-million-dollar ICC arbitration, and working with a D&B contractor on the Doha Metro Project in an ICC arbitration with claims amounting to QAR 950 million. She also has experience in drafting and negotiating FIDIC Red Book, Yellow Book and Green Book contracts.

Isabella holds an LL.B from the University of the West of England (2018) and completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England (2021).
