Susan Gillon

Susan Gillon is a Counsel in Dentons' Glasgow office with more than 30 years' experience in the real estate sector.

She has been involved in a broad range of commercial property work, acting for institutional investors, overseas investors, property companies, retailers, banks, public sector clients and insolvency practitioners. Notable matters include acting for Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) on the acquisition of St Johns Shopping Centre, Perth and Atrium Court, Glasgow; leading a 15-lawyer due diligence team on the acquisition of Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh; leading a 22-lawyer team on the acquisition of St Enoch Shopping Centre, Glasgow; advising on the development of the "Hutcheson E site" in Glasgow, a mixed-use development of circa 1,200 homes with a further 500+ homes in Queen Elizabeth Square; and advising insolvency practitioners on the disposal of assets in high-profile administrations including the Kilmartin Group and Herd Group.

She is a member of the Law Society of Scotland.
