Peter Voisey

Peter Voisey is a Partner at Dentons in London, practicing in the Banking and Finance group and co‑heading the firm's securitization and structured finance practice, specializing in Capital Markets Law. He advises originators, arrangers, and other market participants on a broad range of public and private securitization and warehousing transactions across multiple asset classes, including residential mortgages, consumer loans, auto loans, commercial mortgages, NPLs, trade receivables, corporate and leverage loans, equity release, and home reversion plans.

Peter has extensive experience advising on RMBS, CMBS, ABS, and CLO programs, bank‑sponsored conduit programs, and covered bond programs for banks and financial institutions in the UK, continental Europe, and globally. He also advises on supply chain financing, factoring programs, cash and synthetic structures, and real estate finance transactions financed by capital markets issues. His practice includes the acquisition, financing, and disposal of performing and non‑performing loan portfolios, as well as capital market programs including secured and unsecured issues.

He holds an M.A. in Medieval and Modern Languages from Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge and completed his Common Professional Exam and Law Society Finals at the London College of Law. He was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales. Prior to joining Dentons in 2016, Peter was a partner at Clifford Chance for 15 years.

Peter is recognised as a star individual in securitization and structured finance by Chambers UK, and was named one of the "Best of the Best" for Structured Finance and Securitization by Euromoney's Expert Guides (2017).
