Owen McLennan

Owen McLennan is a Partner in Dentons' Investment Funds and Asset Management practice, based in the UK, acting both for sponsors in fund formation mandates and for investors making commitments to such funds.

He advises on a wide range of corporate and investment matters, including complex funding arrangements, governance strategies, and regulatory compliance with financial services legislation. His practice covers the review and negotiation of investment management, administration, custody and depositary agreements, as well as broader commercial contracts. Notable matters include advising a high-profile FinTech business on its crowdfunding terms of investment, drafting and negotiating a placing agreement for an approximately $100 million LSE Specialist Fund Market listing, and advising on the reorganisation of a large funeral plan provider.

Owen holds an LL.B from the University of Glasgow and an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge.

He has been personally ranked as a "rising star" or "next generation partner" in the last seven consecutive editions of The Legal 500 and is described as "first rate".
