Ollie Beels

Ollie Beels is an Associate in Dentons' Intellectual Property practice, based in the London office. His practice focuses on Intellectual Property Law, covering both contentious and non-contentious aspects.

He regularly advises clients on intellectual property disputes, including advising large multinational companies on complex trade mark opposition and cancellation actions before the UKIPO, enforcement of intellectual property rights and brand licence disputes. Ollie also has experience strategically advising clients on the settlement of such disputes.

In the non-contentious space, Ollie has experience advising on the commercial exploitation of intellectual property rights (in particular, in relation to brands, including by way of assignment and licensing), and has worked on M&A transactions advising from an intellectual property perspective.

Ollie has in-house experience, having been seconded to the Dr Martens legal team in 2021. He holds an LLB from the University of Exeter and a Legal Practice Course from the University of Law, and is a member of the IP Society.
