Lee McLernon

Lee McLernon is Counsel in Dentons' Banking and Finance practice, specialising in Banking and Finance Law with a particular focus on asset finance and aircraft finance. He represents many of the leading aircraft finance banks, export credit agencies and airlines.

Lee's experience includes negotiating and implementing ECA-supported finance transactions for aircraft and helicopters, operating leases and finance leases, tax-based leasing arrangements, sale agreements, and PDP financings for Airbus and Boeing aircraft. He also advises on restructuring finance lease transactions involving insolvent airlines and aircraft lessors, as well as repossession issues.

Lee holds an M.A. from Girton College, University of Cambridge (1994) and a Diploma in Law with distinction from the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice (1997).
