Jonathan Smith

Jonathan Smith is Counsel at Dentons in London, practicing in the Projects group, specializing in Infrastructure Law. He works within the Rail team and advises on franchise bids, rolling stock procurement, and infrastructure projects for clients including MTR Corporation, CAF, GB Railfreight, and Network Rail.

Jonathan has also advised clients in the defence, nuclear, and postal sectors, including the Ministry of Defence, Royal Mail, and the Low Level Waste Repository. He has completed secondments to ABN AMRO Bank within their Energy, Commodities and Transport team and to Dentons' Muscat office within the Projects and Banking practice.

He holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of Warwick (2006) and an LL.B (Hons) from the College of Law, Birmingham (2008). He qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2011.
