Jamie Lester

Jamie Lester is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Department at RIAA Barker Gillette (UK) LLP, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He is an experienced commercial litigator with more than two decades of practice advising clients on complex, high-value disputes in the UK and internationally.

Jamie acts for a wide range of clients, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, businesses, professional partnerships and insolvency practitioners, on commercial and corporate disputes, often with cross-border elements. He has extensive experience in negotiation, mediation and High Court litigation, with a strong track record of resolving disputes efficiently while protecting clients' wider commercial interests. He also advises on professional negligence claims, insolvency and restructuring disputes, and complex multi‑jurisdictional matters.

Jamie holds a degree in Politics and Modern History from Brunel University of London (1997) and completed the CPE and LPC at the College of Law, London (1999). He qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2007.
