Jacob Bellamy

Jacob Bellamy is an Associate in Bird & Bird's international Corporate Group, based in London. His primary practice area is Mergers and Acquisitions.

He advises on a broad range of corporate matters, including private M&A, venture capital transactions, and general corporate advisory work. He works closely with clients at every stage of a transaction, across a variety of sectors, with a particular interest in defence, technology and high-growth businesses.

Before joining Bird & Bird in October 2025, he qualified as a solicitor at a national law firm, where he advised on a range of corporate transactions. That experience, combined with his time at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, has shaped the way he works, valuing clear communication and a methodical approach.

His in-house secondments at a major supermarket chain and a Premier League football club provided him with first-hand insight into how businesses operate, make decisions and experience legal risk, which he brings into every matter he works on.
