Alexander McGregor

Alexander McGregor is a Partner in Dentons' Litigation practice in the London office, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He advises on a wide range of commercial disputes and contentious regulatory matters, with a particular focus on ESG litigation and product liability issues.

Alex has acted on cross-border claims, group and class actions, and regulatory investigations for clients across the energy and resources, automotive, manufacturing, technology and healthcare sectors. Notable representations include advising multinational automotive manufacturers on diesel emissions compliance and group action proceedings, a mining company on ESG issues regarding the responsible sourcing of gold, and successfully defending one of the world's largest energy companies in English High Court litigation brought by a group of Colombian landowners claiming environmental damage. He also advises on climate change class actions, cartel follow-on damages claims, and product liability class actions in multiple jurisdictions.

Alex holds an LL.B. and a B.A. from the University of Western Australia (2008), where he was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, and an LL.M. with Distinction from Nottingham Trent University (2016). He is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales. Prior to joining Dentons in 2024, Alex was a senior associate and associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
