Georgina Farmer

Georgina Farmer is an Associate in the Commercial team at Bird & Bird in London, working as a member of the firm's Retail & Consumer sector group. Her practice focuses on Corporate Law, specialising in commercial contracts.

She supports retail and consumer-facing businesses from early-stage ventures and SMEs through to growing and established multinational corporations.

Her experience includes drafting and advising on a variety of agency, distribution, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics contracts, as well as bespoke arrangements for the procurement and supply of goods and services (both B2B and B2C). She also has experience in coordinating advice across multi-jurisdictional projects.

She enjoys providing tailored, practical advice to clients, from strategic domestic and international expansion strategies right through to business-as-usual activities.

She has completed several client secondments, including a secondment to a luxury international sportswear brand, where amongst a variety of commercial matters, she advised on brand collaborations and sponsorship agreements. Her in-house experience has enabled her to develop a strong grasp of the drivers of business and how to structure solutions to complex scenarios to manage commercial and contractual risk.
