Emily Russell

Emily Russell is a Senior Associate in Dentons' Employment and Pensions team in London, specialising in UK employment law. She supports businesses on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment-related matters.

Her experience includes defending clients in the Employment Tribunal in respect of high-value claims involving issues such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing. She regularly advises clients on employment contracts and policies, negotiating exits, commercial transactions, team moves, and redundancies, as well as day-to-day HR issues. She also advises international businesses on multi-jurisdictional projects relating to matters such as return-to-work following COVID-19 and secondments.

Emily holds an LL.B (Hons) from Nottingham Trent University (2014) and completed the Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School (2015). She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2018.

She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (UK).
