Daniel Lund

Daniel Lund is a Partner in Dentons' London office, practicing in the firm's International Trade Law group. His practice focuses on all aspects of international trade, national security concerns arising from foreign direct investment, and financial crime matters, encompassing export and cyber controls, financial and trade sanctions, anti-corruption and anti-money laundering regulation, as well as customs and excise, trade remedies, free trade agreements, and wider trade policy.

Mr. Lund advises across all industry sectors, ranging from strategic, contractual, and compliance advice through to investigations and contentious matters. He has a strong reputation within both the US and European trade compliance communities and has co-authored numerous insights on trade sanctions, export controls, customs, and free trade agreements.

Daniel holds a BA (Hons) in Classics from Durham University (2010), a Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law (2011), and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School (2012). He was awarded the City of London Solicitors' Company Prize, recognizing him as the most promising solicitor in the City of London.

He has been recognized by The Legal 500 as a key lawyer in Trade, WTO, anti-dumping and customs, and was part of the winning team for Tolley's Best UK Indirect Tax Team Award (2017).
