Charles Wood

Charles Wood is a Partner in the Projects Practice at Dentons in London, specialising in energy law, LNG and gas projects, and energy regulation. He advises on downstream gas and electricity market reform and regulation, and energy and natural resources projects across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Charles has advised governments, energy regulators, gas and electricity utilities, and energy trading companies on market reform and regulation; and international and national oil companies, LNG terminal operators, project sponsors, and governments on LNG and other energy projects. His practice covers the full spectrum of energy project development, from project structuring and financing to regulatory compliance and market reform.

Charles holds a BA and MA from University College Oxford, where he studied Psychology, Philosophy and Physiology, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in 1978. He was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 1980.
