Catherine Orr is a Managing Lawyer in the Dentons Helix Glasgow office, specializing in Corporate Law. She has extensive experience advising on complex commercial contracts, with a particular focus on retail‑facing arrangements such as distribution and licensing, standard terms and conditions for sale and purchase, concession agreements, and SaaS agreements.

Catherine works closely with clients' business stakeholders and in‑house legal teams to deliver focused, pragmatic solutions. Prior to joining Dentons Helix, she spent eight years as a consultant solicitor supporting start‑ups through to large organisations across the engineering and hospitality sectors, and worked as in‑house counsel at Chivas Brothers, where she worked extensively with procurement, IP, and IT teams on supply, services, outsourcing, data processing, and sponsorship agreements. She trained and practised in corporate roles at Brodies and Semple Fraser, advising on M&A, joint ventures, and shareholders' arrangements.
