Alexander Grigg

Alexander Grigg is an Associate in Bird & Bird's Intellectual Property Group, based in London, focusing on contentious matters. His practice focuses on Intellectual Property Law.

During his time at Bird & Bird, he has been involved with a broad spectrum of work ranging from large-scale patent and trade mark litigation to brand protection and non-contentious advice. He therefore understands how to adapt to a variety of intellectual property issues and tailor advice to any client's circumstances, with a key focus on contentious work.

He also has experience in complex cross-jurisdictional matters, having coordinated detailed advice from a large number of jurisdictions and tailored it to the client's brief. Being able to speak French and German, he can also understand and digest legal issues from outside the UK.

He has a keen interest in the Media, Entertainment and Sports sector, and in particular in the developing sector of esports and video games. He is also a contributor to the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys Journal and a member of the MediaWrites team, a news hub by the firm's Media, Entertainment and Sports group.
