Alex Kyrtsoudis

Alex Kyrtsoudis is an Associate in the Intellectual Property Group in London, focusing on Intellectual Property Law. His practice centres on contentious IP work in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.

He is experienced in contentious work across all of the IP rights, including patents, designs, copyright and trade marks. He has worked on matters in the English High Court (including the Patents Court and the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court) and Court of Appeal, and in international arbitration proceedings. He also has experience with transactional IP matters.

At Bird & Bird, his practice is focused on contentious work in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector, where he assists clients with a variety of IP disputes. A recent example is a patent entitlement dispute relating to DNA production.

Alex holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences.
