Jennifer Cass

Jennifer Cass is a Partner at Dentons and an intellectual property and media specialist in the TMT practice. She is Dentons' Tech & Media Sector Leader for the UK, Ireland and Middle East. Her practice focuses on Intellectual Property Law, advising clients on all aspects of intellectual property and media law, both contentious and non-contentious.

Jen is a trusted advisor to media, social media and entertainment companies, as well as a diverse range of brands and retailers. She has extensive experience in providing strategic advice on complex contentious matters, including copyright, trade mark and design litigation, licensing and contractual disputes and defamation claims.

Her expertise extends to advising on the exploitation and acquisition of intellectual property and media rights, covering brand and content licensing, franchising, broadcasting and distribution, sponsorship and entertainment transactions. She is also highly experienced in supporting clients with film and television production arrangements and regularly advises on consumer law issues.

She was shortlisted for Rising Star – IP at the Women In Business Law Awards EMEA 2024 and has been listed as "One to Watch – IP" in Best Lawyers since 2022. She holds a BA and an LLB from the University of Western Australia.
