Alec Cameron

Alec Cameron is an Associate in Dentons' Edinburgh office and a member of the Projects practice group, specializing in non-contentious construction law.

He has extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, including the development of a 4GW offshore wind farm and a nuclear power plant in Romania. He has also been seconded to an offshore wind developer, advising on turbine supply and installation agreements for projects in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and Japan. He acts for leading BTR housing developers, advising on site acquisitions, financing and development, including a £60 million portfolio of eight sites and a £66 million London agreement for lease. He also advises major supermarket retailers on construction work, framework contracting, complex insurance arrangements, and the roll-out of EV charging facilities and solar panels.

Alec holds an LL.B from the University of Glasgow (2019). He is a Notary Public of the Law Society of Scotland and a member of Young Professionals in Construction.
